Signature on Delivery
Because of the nature of the merchandise being shipped, Apple will require a signature upon the delivery of all products. There are three arrangements with which this action can be executed.
The first option is for you to pre-sign your purchase with Apple. Upon checkout, click on the link that designates you to "Pre-sign for this shipment." You'll want to print and sign this document. Leave this printout for your carrier to see on the morning your package is expected to arrive.
If you're going to be at home during the expected delivery date, you can sign for the package with your mail carrier. The signature must be made by a person of at least age eighteen or older.
The third option for signing off your delivery is to release your order to a trusted friend or acquaintance. The shipment can be redirected to your neighbor or building manager. Your mail carrier will make three attempts in delivering your Apple order. If you're unavailable during any of the visits, you will be left a note informing you on the next delivery attempt. You can inform the carrier on the note to release the Apple order to a specified individual.
